Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly financial reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for weekend reporting cycles.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on weekend deadlines.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support internal and external audits by providing organized financial records and documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal accounting regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping (required).
- Experience working in a Weekend Shift environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
