Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks Enterprise for multi-entity accounting operations
- Coordinate with auditors during annual financial reviews and compliance audits
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and financial data integrity
- Analyze cash flow trends and provide actionable financial insights to management
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero tolerance for discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in mid-sized organizations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical precision
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
