Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare financial statements and management reports with clear data insights
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios
- Implement internal controls and audit trails for financial security
- Collaborate with CPAs and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Familiarity with sales tax filing and payroll systems (ADP/Paychex)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (0.5% error tolerance)
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification required
