Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Coordinate with auditors and prepare documentation for annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Oversee tax preparation and filing requirements
- Provide financial reports to executive leadership team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
