Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, handle vendor payments, and ensure accurate and timely collections from clients.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly and daily bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts match the general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets for management review.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger by recording daily transactions and ensuring proper classification of accounts.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll data and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
