Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Coordinate with auditors during tax season and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable workflows, vendor management, and expense reporting systems
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records with secure backup protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance and payroll processing regulations
