Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios including AR/AP, payroll integration, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end financial statements with variance analysis and management summaries
- Oversee QuickBooks Desktop/QBO implementation and optimization for complex accounting structures
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews and tax preparation
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for executive stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving state/federal tax regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop/QBO) and Excel/Power BI
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Proven expertise in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with construction/real estate industry accounting practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
