The Role:
We are looking for a proactive individual to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget forecasting.
- Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
