Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Process payroll accurately using [Insert Payroll System Name] software.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and archives for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
