Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse industry clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support tax planning and filings
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel models
- Provide strategic financial insights to guide client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliation processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
