Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of complex tax returns and ensure timely filing with federal and state authorities.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of bank accounts and financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
- Prepare budget forecasts and provide financial insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
