Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Perform internal audits and financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain the general ledger system and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
