Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax preparation processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel advanced functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), and accounting software
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audits
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and manage competing priorities
