About the Role:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and general ledger audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CPA exam completion is a plus but not mandatory.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
