The Role: You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing strategic insights to the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain and audit the general ledger system and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
