Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial recording.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and local compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on budget vs. actual performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
