Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage financial records, ensure accuracy, and support our clients with their accounting needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely weekly disbursements.
- Prepare and file tax documents and support annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with high self-discipline.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
