As an integral member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing critical insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform variance analysis and recommend strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve internal controls.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data and prepare necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
