Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are operating effectively.
- Generate financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
