Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and digital filing systems.
- Payroll Support: Assist the finance team with payroll processing and timesheet verification.
- Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients while tracking outstanding payments.
- Data Entry: Enter and update financial data into accounting software with high precision.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet formulas) is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- Computer Literacy: Comfortable learning new accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
