Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy
- Process complex accounts payable/receivable for 50+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance (multi-state)
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels
