Responsibilities
- Manage Day-to-Day Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are recorded accurately and payments are made on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, financial statements, and budget reports.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for employees.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including digital and hard copies.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and ability to spot discrepancies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
