Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for the organization.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
