Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Oversee general ledger operations and manage the month-end close process efficiently.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and facilitate external financial audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with management to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
