About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports for management review.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
- Monitor budgets and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
