Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and process invoices efficiently.
- Provide support for internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
