We are urgently hiring a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a Direct Hire position designed for a detail-oriented professional looking for immediate employment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations, and providing critical financial insights to our leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process and manage payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax filings and quarterly estimates.
- Review and code invoices for accuracy and proper approval.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation procedures.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
