Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage tax filings and compliance documentation for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budgeting processes
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VBA/macros), and accounting software
- Demonstrated success in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific accounting practices
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial data handling
- Strong problem-solving skills for resolving complex reconciliations
