Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Maintain accurate payroll records and tax filings
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Expert knowledge of tax regulations (federal/state)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
