Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Implement daily pay systems for employees while maintaining compliance with FLSA and state regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll and accounting workflows
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Ensure SOX compliance and maintain internal controls for daily pay processes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with daily pay or payroll systems
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP platforms
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial data for stakeholders
- Proven track record of process optimization in accounting operations
