Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) and monthly closing reports
- Handle payroll processing and tax filing for small businesses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for clients
- Assist with audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide financial analysis and budget support to clients
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with payroll processing (ADP/Paychell preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills required
- Professional certification (CPA, CB) a plus
