Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with 99.8% accuracy
- Process payroll using ADP and handle quarterly tax filings
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary accounting systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Experience with multi-entity accounting structures
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (IL, FL, WI)
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates <0.5%
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
