Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all night shift staff.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
