Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to aid in strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is essential.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation is highly preferred.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
