Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for 500+ patient accounts
- Resolve insurance claim denials and rejections within SLAs
- Conduct audits to ensure CPT/ICD-10 coding accuracy
- Collaborate with providers to document chargeable services
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Train staff on billing system updates and compliance protocols
- Oversee AR aging and collection strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in healthcare settings
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in Epic and Centricity EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven track record of reducing denial rates by 25%+
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts receivable
