Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and complex customer inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to accelerate cash flow
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing documentation
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (if applicable) or industry-specific standards
- Generate monthly billing reports and performance metrics for leadership review
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to streamline billing workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of comprehensive billing experience in Sacramento or Northern California
- Proficiency in medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10) or commercial billing systems
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent preferred
- Proven track record of reducing DSO by 15%+ in previous roles
