Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage denial resolution and appeals for commercial/government payers
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation
- Conduct monthly audits of charge master and CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Collaborate with clinical teams for coding validation
- Generate revenue cycle performance reports
- Train staff on billing system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC required
- Expertise in Epic/NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CMS 1500 forms
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Ability to resolve complex claim denials
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Healthcare compliance certification preferred
