Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering necessary data and supporting schedules.
- Conduct internal audits of financial data to ensure internal controls are effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and budget analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- CPA certification or CMA is a plus but not mandatory for this urgent hire.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
