Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable cycles.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with tax preparation, filings, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and cost analysis to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget planning and forecasting.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting systems and software documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory for this role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
