Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure all tax compliance requirements are met.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure funds are allocated appropriately.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to prevent financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes and forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in an urgent hiring scenario.
