Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and cash flow projections.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with GAAP and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero is required; strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) are essential.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to start immediately or within 2 weeks.
