Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
