Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support during external audits.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
