Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Implement and improve accounting systems to enhance efficiency and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements to mitigate financial risks
- Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
