Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local individual and corporate income tax returns.
- Analyze financial data to ensure strict compliance with tax regulations and laws.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liability and maximize returns.
- Communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- Perform general accounting duties including reconciliation and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or accounting (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte).
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
