Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Form 1040, 1120, 1065).
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with current federal and state regulations.
- Review client financial documents to identify potential tax savings and optimization opportunities.
- Communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and implement necessary process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting is required.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Drake, Lacerte) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
