Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax provision packages.
- Communicate complex tax information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support audit processes and respond to tax authority inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting (CPA or EA certification preferred).
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Drake, UltraTax, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
