Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with IRS regulations
- Conduct thorough tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Respond to IRS inquiries and resolve tax notices efficiently
- Maintain accurate client records using ProSystem fx and other tax software
- Collaborate with senior associates on complex tax scenarios
- Stay updated on tax law changes through continuous education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience or equivalent education
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or UltraTax)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Ability to start immediately with flexible work arrangements
