Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and international tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and compliance consulting on emerging tax legislation and regulations
- Lead tax planning engagements for M&A transactions, reorganizations, and cross-border investments
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries
- Mentor junior associates and supervise tax preparation workflows
- Utilize advanced tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH, Thomson Reuters) for data analysis and reporting
- Develop tax-efficient strategies for wealth preservation and business expansion
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master's or MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate tax experience
- CPA license or active pursuit required
- Advanced proficiency in tax software and data analytics tools
- Deep knowledge of IRS regulations, FASB standards, and international tax codes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
- Experience with S-corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary tax matters
