Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for a diverse client portfolio.
- Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize liability and maximize client returns.
- Communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting (Big 4 experience is a plus).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, tax software (e.g., Drake, UltraTax), and ERPs.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
